Dear Patient

I want to sincerely thank everyone for making my transition period as your new dentist a pleasure. It’s been very enjoyable meeting each of you who have been in over the last several months. My staff and I hope we have provided you with a high level of service in a pleasant friendly atmosphere.  

Tom and Doris Hurban have been enjoying traveling and spending time with their family. They were very touched by all the cards and well wishes they have received from you all. ( Dr. Hurban’s retirement letter ) The turn out at the open house was phenomenal!

There are some improvements that I would like to announce about your dental practice here at Walnut pond. We have added early morning appointments at 7am, and retained our evening hours on Monday until 8pm. We are bringing computers into the treatment areas to assist collection and retrieval of information, as well as assist in taking digital X-rays. We will be updating one treatment room with a new dental chair and modern X-ray unit. We will have nitrous oxide available to calm down any apprehension, and bring in your favorite CD to listen to on our noise canceling stereo head phones.

I will be offering some new services including cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, and sedation dentistry by a certified anesthesiologist. Please see the web site for more information, and photographs of actual cases I have done.  We will be referring to the same specialists that you have enjoyed using in the past. You are free to request them whenever you would like.

In case of after hours dental emergency please call the 908-528-7000 number and leave a message. During normal working hours this number will be forwarded to the front desk. We have reserved several hours each day to handle emergencies. We strive to see patients in pain the same day that they call. The hour of emergency appointments will not be in high demand times.

I want to take this opportunity to introduce our new full time hygienist Sandra Davenport RDH. Sandy has been providing dental hygiene services on Monday evenings for many of you, and I have heard many compliments about her gentile touch, and friendly demeanor.  Sandy has a wide range of experience in dentistry, with fifteen years as a dental hygienist. I am aware that many of you looked forward to seeing Linda at your periodic exam visit, but I know that Sandy will prove to be a very capable partner in caring for your oral health. Sandy and I look forward to meeting with you at your next visit to Walnut Pond.
